Walk the beach, hunt for sharks' teeth, fossil, shells, sea glass, and driftwood. See Sunrise on the bay. Walking distance to American Chesnut Land Trust trail to hike or explore.
Restaurants and shopping nearby. 6.5 miles to Prince Frederick and 14.7 miles to Solomons Island where you can walk the boardwalk, take a charter boat to fish, rent a boat or take a cruise.
It's not only a vacation home but a great place to work from remotely with a great view then take a break and walk the beach.
We have gas and charcoal grills and will supply beach chairs. We have shower, dishwasher, washer and dryer but please limit use of water.
Port Republic is home to this cottage. Perigeaux Vineyards and Winery and Running Hare Vineyard are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center and Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum. Chesapeake Beach Water Park and Phillips Wharf Environmental Center are also worth visiting.
