After completing medical school in 1974 with Honors, Dr. Ibrahim joined the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland in 1981. Dr. Ibrahim continued his training in ophthalmology in New York's Catholic Medical Center affiliated with Cornell University. Dr. Ibrahim completed fellowship training in Glaucoma at the University of Nebraska where he served as Chief Ophthalmologist at the Veteran Administration Hospital.
