Our main objective when you visit "Playa Azul" is that you eat deliciously at an incomparable price. We strive to give the best service in terms of speed, cleanliness, hospitality and good atmosphere. In addition, every weekend you can enjoy Latin music with mariachi bands at our location. In 1995 in San Francisco, California, the founder of "Playa Azul," Don Roberto Sánchez' was invited to acquire the location where the San Francisco restaurant is now. This is how the history of "Playa Azul" began where today the most delicious seafood dishes can be enjoyed. The original name Don Roberto chose for the new restaurant would be "México Típico" (Traditional Mexico) but afterwards he decided to name it "Playa Azul" (Blue Beach) receiving the inspiration at a beach near Puerto Vallarta Mexico. The creation of the dishes was made together with Martín Hernández, who had traveled from Texas to co-work with Don Roberto. After hard work and dedication, an unsurpassed restaurant was formed. It has now become a great success. Currently in "Playa Azul," a great team of professionals - including Don Roberto's wife and two sons - work together, with more than 15 years of experience.
