As of the census of 2000, there were 47 people, 29 households, and 9 families residing in the village. The population density was 178.1 inhabitants per square mile (68.7/km). There were 135 housing units at an average density of 85.6 per square mile (33.0/km). The racial makeup of the village was 96.80% White, 2.14% African American, 0.71% from other races, and 0.36% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.71% of the population.
There were 129 households, out of which 24.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.0% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 46.5% were non-families. 42.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 27.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.16 and the average family size was 3.04.
