Levin Management Signs Lease With Batteries Plus

The 1,650-Square-Foot Transaction Completes the Lease-up of North Plainfield's 513 Route 22 West

NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Jan. 5, 2011 - Batteries Plus has leased 1,650 square feet at 513 Route 22 West in North Plainfield, N.J., announced Levin Management Corporation, which represented the landlord in the transaction. Batteries Plus will share the two-tenant property with Sprint, which occupies a like amount of space.

"Their specialized approach has shown great strength at other locations, and this one has the benefit of a traffic count of over 61,000 vehicles a day as well as Sprint for a neighbor."

With more than 430 locations nationwide, 513 Route 22 West marks Batteries Plus' fifth store in New Jersey. The innovative retailer sells national brands, from common AA and nine-volt batteries to hard-to-find specialty batteries, for use in everything from laptops, to camcorders, cars and trucks, cordless tools, cordless and cell phones, exits and security systems, and more.

Located at the intersection of U.S. Route 22 and Norwood Avenue, 513 Route 22 West has a three-mile population of nearly 109,000 and a five-mile population of almost 228,000. Levin Management recently leased 3,000 SF to T-Mobile, across the street at 578 Route 22 East.
