Levin Inks Lease with D'lites Emporium in Commack, N.Y.

The Frozen Dessert Shop has taken 1,280 Square Feet at Mayfair Shopping Center

Levin Management Corporation has brought another new tenant to Mayfair Shopping Center. The exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 214,625-square-foot shopping center arranged a lease for a franchised D'lites Emporium, a purveyor of dietary frozen desserts, for 1,280 square feet. Levin Management's leasing representative for the property, Jake Frantzman, represented the center, and D'lites Emporium was represented by Amanda Gordon of Breslin Realty.

"With the growing interest in healthy diets by consumers, D'lites adds an important new ingredient to the food offerings at Mayfair Shopping Center," said Frantzman. Those other food offerings include Outback Steakhouse, Ciao Baby, Good Taste Buffet, Bagel Boss, Kosher Market & Deli, and Original Brooklyn Pizza.

"We continue to expand and diversify the tenant mix at Mayfair Shopping Center," said Frantzman. "Other tenants include Waldbaum's, Gap, Gap Kids, Ann Taylor Loft, Jos. A. Bank, and Talbots Outlet."

Additional national and regional retailers represented at Mayfair include MJM Shoes, Stride Rite, Gamestop, Rite Aid, New York & Company, and Sherwin Williams.

Founded in Plantation, Fla. in 1982, D'lites Emporium currently has stores throughout Florida, Georgia, and Central America. The Mayfair Shopping Center location, the company's second in Long Island, is a major step in the expansion of the brand into the Tri-State area, with additional franchised stores slated for New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Situated on the heavily traveled Jericho Turnpike just west of Sunken Meadow Parkway, Mayfair Shopping Center has been a long-time shopping destination in its market, with some 27,000 cars passing by daily.
