Carrie has 14 years experience in physical therapy, a clinical specialty in neurology, and special interest and training in vestibular (inner ear) rehabilitation.

Carrie has clinical competency in vestibular (inner ear) rehabilitation, and advanced training in balance training, fall prevention, and evaluation and treatment of gait and balance disorders. She has been a lab course instructor for Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in gait and balance, and a lab instructor for myofascial techniques. She has research experience in balance disorders at the Biomotion Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a published paper on the effects of using horses as a treatment tool (hippotherapy) in physical therapy for children.
