Sunday evening in the Foothills

Sunday evening in the Foothills of Ahwatukee saw another night of people, fun and great music. Not to mention a full moon giving the kids more evening time to play in the grass or on the jungle jim that sits in the middle of the park. This park is home to soccor and baseball not to mention an occasional basketball game. This amazing park can be found situated at the intersection of Desert Foothills Parkway and Chandler Blvd over the next now four Sunday’s you’ll find locals getting together to picnic and have fun while relaxing in the cool evening breeze of October in Phoenix. If you’re new to the area this has been a tradition for a number of years now. Locals from the gated homes of Ahwatukee to families who just purchased an affordable home (yes there are a number of affordable homes in Ahwatukee) come to listen every Sunday from 5-7:30. Bring your pizza, bring your sandwiches, and bring your tasty beverage, just be sure and pick up after yourself when you leave. We want this area to be just as beautiful for the next person that strolls down the park.
