Dr. Manley May - PEARLAND, TX

Dr. Manley May graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1992. After graduation, Dr. May and his family moved to Pearland, and he began practicing veterinary medicine at a large, multi-veterinarian, small animal clinic in the Rice Village area where he spent 12+ years.

In the spring of 2005, he fulfilled a life-long dream by opening the Pearland Pet Health Center. Dr. May is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (A.V.M.A.), the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (T.V.M.A.) and the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association (H.C.V.M.A.). He served on the board of the H.C.V.M.A. as Historian (2001), Vice President (2002) and President (2003).

H Texas Magazine recognized Dr. May as one of Houston's best vets in its April 2004 edition. Dr. May has also worked closely with S.N.A.P. of Houston. He also works closely with Bunny Buddies, a local rabbit rescue group, and Red Collar Rescue, a local dog rescue group.

Besides veterinary medicine, Dr. May enjoys spending time with his wife, Jodi, and two sons, Reagan and Ryan, as well as his wife and granddaughter Vera . They have a number of critters of their own: a dachshund Squiggy and three donkeys, Roxie, Heme and Shiner. He also enjoys old cars, trucks, tractors and water skiing.
