Restaurant Description
Seng Dao Thai Restaurant is a place that does not attract a lot of tourists. It sits on the area where most are entering Palm Canyon Drive coming from Los Angeles and is not in the thick of things. The inside is colorful and clean accented with Thai art. The owners know how to prepare excellent Thai food and everything is flavorful and seasoned wonderfully. The Pad Thai is outstanding as is the chicken curry. The staff will make sure the spice level is to your liking. Most tourists don't come out here so they serve the locals who take advantage of this secret jewel. The tom ka gai soup, which is coconut milk laden soup with chicken, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, and bamboo shoots, and tom yum gai soup, which is the same thing as tom ka gai, but no coconut milk are both superb. This family run restaurant is a perfect stop after a day of shopping or for a business lunch. If you love authentic Thai food you will love Seng Dao Thai Restaurant.
