A rustic cabin in the woods, halfway between Palestine and Athens, Tx. The property is a gated 57 acres with lots of wildlife, pond with catfish and lots of trails for exploring. This is prime hunting land with an abundance of deer, wild hogs, and squirrel and full of both pine, hardwood and native grasses. Visit us during Dogwood Trail days, the Dogwood Jamboree in Palestine or festivals throughout the year like the fiddlers reunion and the black-eyed pea festival in Athens.

There are 4-5 electric space a large bathroom
The cabin is approx. 500 & 600 sq ft
There is a house phone in the cabin because most cell phones will not receive a signal inside the cabin
The cabin does have satellite internet access

Palestine is home to this guesthouse. Texas State Railroad: Palestine Depot and Athens Scuba Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Davey Dogwood Park and Green Park.
