The first career path you choose isn’t always the one that suits you perfectly. There are so many reasons why you may be in the wrong profession. You may not like the work environment, the current career may not suit your passion, or you can be in a career that you really don’t like for financial reasons.
You always have the option to go after a second career; you can also choose to make a leap and enter a completely new field – one that you are really passionate about – at any point in your career. Before you do, however, there are several important factors you need to take into account.Shopping Today

The Requirements
You don’t always have the necessary requirements to enter a new field. Making a jump from sales to marketing is easy, however, taking a leap from sales to engineering requires additional preparation. Before making any big decision, you need to be extra certain about the requirements of the new career.

I’m talking about meeting those requirements. If you need to have a certain degree to quality for a job in the new field, then your first step should be pursuing that degree or a master’s degree in the same field. If you are required to know about certain things, then short courses or training are your answer. Honesty Is The Best Policy Story

Meeting requirements is something you want to do before you make your decision. This way, you can continue with your existing job and explore the potentials of a new career with relative safety. You also don’t need to worry about not being able to fit into the new career – and not being able to return to your old one after the leap.
