There are 2 steps into the front door 3 steps into and back door.
The outside of this cabin makes it appear small. However, when you step inside it is spacious! It amazes everyone who visits. The living room, kitchen, and dining are one long space with 2 huge windows and french door over looking forest and creek. Listen and watch the rush of Bear Creek on the back deck. Enjoy an outdoor fire pit while you sit on the front patio. Relax inside this comfy house and enjoy the 2 big windows and glass french back door that provide views of creek and forest. 40" Smart TV living room. Smaller TV with built in DVD player in bedroom on the side.
Gas fireplace gives the living room ambiance and warms the house to make it cozy warm on those cold winter days. If you need to get things warmer fast the electric furnace quickly warms the house.
Queen bed in bedroom. The house is nicely appointed to accommodate two adults.
Close to Drift Creek Covered bridge and up the road is Drift Creek Falls hiking trails and suspension bridge. 15 minutes drive to Lincoln City, Chinook Winds Casino, community center and shopping. Hike up miles of trails and road ways on forest property nearby.
You must let us know if you are bringing an animal and how many people including children so we can set up the cabin to accommodate your group. Your honesty is important to your stay. We do allow tents and RV's, but must have time to contact neighbors about your accommodations and acceptance.
Note we understand wanting to bring children and pets; keep in mind the house is not pet, baby or childproofed. Also the creek is not easily accessible at this time. Very slippery with a drop off, no stairs yet.
Well groomed and non-shedding pets are welcome but please do not allow them in the bedroom as we have allergies and hope that you will respect that we cannot have animals in the bedroom so we can continue to enjoy our place too. Please do not leave pets left alone unattended in the house.
Wireless internet. Phone available for US calls only. Some cell phones have spotty or no service in the house, my phone works when I am connected to WiFi; feel free to use the phone. Verizon service seems to work. The neighbors all have working phones and are happy to help if you have an emergency.
