Barry Litwin - NUTLEY, NJ

Dr. Barry J. Litwin is a 1974 graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry where he received a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, Dr. Litwin attended a one-year general residency internship at Baltimore City Hospital and two years of advanced periodontal training at Albert Einstein and the Manhattan VA Hospitals. He continued his training in many specialty fields of dentistry and was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1985.

Dr. Litwin is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Essex County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He opened his office in Nutley in 1978 and provides treatment in the areas of general and cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, periodontal treatment, crowns and bridges, implants, surgery, and dentures. In 2012 Dr. Litwin was appointed to the staff of Mountainside Hospital to assist in training the dental residents. In 2013, Dr. Litwin was honored with a Life Membership Award to the American Dental Association, in addition to being elevated to status of Emeritus Member in the Academy of General Dentistry.
