The inversion method is often used in order to install a CIPP liner, and this method involves using a pressure vessel or a scaffold tower to apply water or air pressure which then turns the liner inside out and pushes it along the sewer line. Liners can also be winched into place through an access hole and inflated to contact the host pipe. The resin often will cure at ambient temperatures, but in many cases UV light or heat can be used in order to speed up the curing. One the resin has cured, the liner is removed from the sewer pipe. A sample of the CIPP may be removed in order to test it for performance and ensure that it will work properly, depending on the necessary application.
