Go back to school and get paid for it! This fall take part in a program that allows you to experience a new culture while earning a great living. Teaching through the EPIK program in South Korea will give you the chance to have the typical Monday to Friday, 8 hour/day work schedule, in a country that is anything but typical.
Even if kimchi isn't your side dish of choice, Korea has a great mix of both the traditional and Western influences. With guaranteed weekends free, the chance to explore your surroundings is one of the reasons that the program is so popular. In a country slightly larger than the state of Indiana, you can spend your year seeing as much or as little as you want. We recommend seeing a lot!
Positions start August 18th, and are open to all applicants that are native English speakers with a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
Once in Korea your contract states that you will commit to employment for 12 months and during this time you will earn between $1,595-$2,391 USD/month and be provided with a
cozy semi-furnished apartment, as well as subsidized return
airfare, medical insurance and 20 days paid vacation.
As you can imagine these positions fill very quickly so we recommend that if you are seriously considering applying that you do so as soon as possible. American applicants, keep in mind that if you apply and pass our phone interview you will need an FBI check done and we recommend that you apply for one asap as they can take up to 3 months.
