Male and Female Instructors Needed for University Positions

Positions Available: 45-50
Number of Foreign Teachers: 20
Start Date: August 15, 2010
Contract Length: 11 months (with potential to renew on an annual basis)
Number of Students/Class: 20 students/class is the average however, class sizes can go up to 40 students
Teaching Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Classes are from Saturday to Wednesday and you work either a morning or afternoon shift
Salary in SAR Currency: 9,000 – 14,000 SAR/month (Saudi Arabian Riyal)
Salary in US Currency: $2,400 USD/month - $3,750 USD/month Tax-Free
Health Insurance: Full health and medical insurance
Housing: Free Furnished Single Housing
Airfare: Pre-Paid Airfare
Vacation: 4 weeks paid vacation (20 days) plus national holidays
Bonus: End of contract bonus
Requirements:
*Native English Speaker (Canadian, Australian or American passport)
*Bachelor`s Degree
*CELTA or in class TEFL/TESL/Certification at least 120 hours and 6 hours
minimum observation
*Must have a Minimum of 2 years experience teaching EFL
*Clear Criminal Background
Details:
These posts involve up to 25 hours of classroom teaching weekly to Saudi students enrolled in the Intensive English Program. This university operates a foundation year program for all students in a number of faculties including Engineering, Management, Medicine and Agriculture. The program consists of classes in English, Math ICT and Critical Thinking. The core text for the program is based on Touchstone by Cambridge University Press but also employs a new blended learning system.
