Glassprimer™ self-priming/permanent-bonding glass paint originated outside of the USA in early 1997. In late 2003 Glassprimer™ expanded to the USA for distribution in North America. Glassprimer™ Glass Paint is based on a scientific approach that uses cutting-edge nano technology that alters the molecular structure of the glass surface to create truly unbreakable molecular fusion. Along with other factors that add to Glassprimer™ glass paint’s durability and weather resistance, the glass paint is made up of high-performance alkyd compounds, components that resist ultraviolet lights and other high performance properties that ensure vibrant color, saturation and longevity. These glass paint properties guarantee a truly permanent bond to glass; they also ensure color durability, retention and resistance to fading in ultra violet light, as well as compatibility with installation adhesives; black “paint can style” mirror mastic and neutral cure silicone glue.
