Mera Peak (6476m) is the most raised trekking crest in Nepal and lies south of Everest. Mera Peak summit would in all likelihood be the finest point of view in Nepal as it offers a comprehensive viewpoint of five 8000m pinnacles - Kangchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Everest and Cho Oyu.

We approach the mountain through a straightforward paced course which gives us enough time to change. We go to Lukla and a while later travel south east to cross the Pangkongma La (3174m) go to enter the forested and uninhabited Hinku valley. This region offers unadulterated wild with various frigid lakes and explosive pinnacles including 7000m mountains like Baruntse and Chamlang.

We stay in tea-houses till Khare and will have tents at Base Camp and High Camp. The climb is a direct and not really troublesome. Acclimatizing to high height is the best approach to advance on this outing. The plan is well altogether considered and offers enough time for acclimatization at different stages. This climb is a wonderful decision for some individual who is looking a first Himalayan summit.
