Dr. Daniel Alexander Black was born in Syracuse, New York. He received his Bachelors degree at The State University of New York at Albany where he graduated with Cum Laude honors. He completed his medical degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at The New York College
of Podiatric Medicine. His residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan included extensive training in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot surgery. Dr. Black has experience in trauma, arthroscopy, diabetic limb salvage, wound care management and elective lower extremity procedures. Dr. Black was the head of academic journal clubs throughout his residency and was published during his time there. Dr. Black is enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated to both his patients and advancing the profession.
