Dr. Laura Laxineta has been with VCA California Oaks Animal Hospital since 2013. She got her BS in Biology in 1977 at UC Davis, and she graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 1983. She is married to Marc Laxineta who is a Equine veterinarian. She has one dog "Milo", a pit bull-mastiff cross, and three cats "Audrey", "Henry" and "JuJuBe". "I enjoy working at VCA California Oaks Animal Hospital because of the quality of care that is practiced here. The staff is excellent and is committed to excellent care of the animals and the clients. The emphasis on preventative care and continuing education is important to me." Dr. Laxineta likes to garden, scuba dive, travel and paint with watercolors.
