Spring Time Reaches Murphy NC In The Blue Ridge Mountains

Spring has arrived in our little town of Murphy, NC. As you drive on main street through town you can see the pear trees blooming with their pink and white buds. The nights are still cool but the days warm up nicely to approximately 65 degrees. The blossoming daffodils brighten up the neighborhoods with their bright yellow flowers. Soon the Easter egg hunt will be held in the park right outside of town. You will be able to the children talking excitedly as they discover each egg. People in town will come just to watch. The older generation will sit and smile remembering when they had little ones who were just as excited. We all enjoy the gentle spring in the mountains and wait patiently for summer.
