Dr. Matha A. Warrren received her degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in June 1986. After a brief externship in Kentucky she returned to Tennessee to work in Smyrna . She opened her own practice for small and exotic animals in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in February 1990. Dr. Warren is a member of the T.V.M.A. (Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association) and Rutherford County Veterinary Society, and National Federation of Independent Business. She and her husband own a cattle farm in Bradyville with several pet chickens and remain active in the Church in Smyrna.
