Tammy Theis

I am Tammy Theis, I am your Montrose County (MC) Commissioner Candidate for District 2. Our campaign for this Board of County Commission (BOCC) is based on Openness and Accountability. I’ve heard the concerns and have answered many questions while listening to the public. I am a third generation native of Colorado. I graduated from Cedaredge High School in Delta County. My husband and I have been married over 37 years, we have two adult children. My background and work history reads like a text book for a utility company as an Electric System Designer / Staking Engineer for over 35 years, with the details of my experience in non-profit sectors, business, educator, governance, leadership, interests and community involvement. I am known for my philanthropic skills, and duties with numerous non-profit organizations that have developed into sustainable organizations continuing to make a difference locally and statewide. I am your Alternative Candidate for this race. I am ready to give back to our County. I have attended every BOCC meeting and function to observe our County’s leadership and proctor the issues that are critical for county residents. I am qualified to be your next Commissioner because of my lifetime of public service and my willingness to give of my time and energy.
