Dr. Nichole Brooks, General Practice & Emergency Veterinarian - MONTEREY, CA

Dr. Nichole Brooks was born and raised in Sonoma County, California. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of CaliforniaÐSanta Cruz in 1999. She then worked as a senior keeper for Safari West, an African Wildlife Preserve in Sonoma County. Dr. Brooks then pursued advanced training at St. GeorgeÕs University, West Indies, where she completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine. She completed her clinical year at North Carolina State University.

Dr. Brooks loves being a general practitioner and enjoys the excitement of emergency medicine. She previously worked as a general practitioner in Virginia, as well as at a general practice in Southern California. Dr. Brooks focuses on preventive care, surgery, and medical treatment of a variety of diseases.

In her free time, Dr. Brooks enjoys the ocean, hiking, wildlife, and spending time with her family and husband, who is also a veterinarian. She and her husband have two dogs, a Boston terrier named Napoleon and an American bulldog named Athena. They also have four cats (Oscar, Poseidon, Kellar, and Pickles) and three aquatic turtles (Alpha, Beta, and Gamma).
