The "Water/Color" exhibit is an exploration of water using color to direct the viewers' experience of the artwork. Curator Marcie Cooperman states, “With its three elements— hue, value, and intensity—color is a powerful tool for all images, no matter what the medium. It can describe heat, or hazy cloudy skies, or show us watery movements. It can strengthen colors, lead the eye in a certain direction or to a specific focal point, or enhance certain areas of the composition.” This colorful and informative exhibit is sure to excite the vision of those who come to see how artists use color and why we react to it.
