"A webmercial is like T.V commercial that is run or streamed
on a website and other internet video platforms.
The traditional webmercial is a streaming media marketing video, similar to
short clips that can be viewed on YouTube or at the beginning
of the footage shown on news websites like CNN. Webmercials are
for use on a business website, social networking profile, or
anywhere else that html can be embedded. They are a future medium
of advertising because they are cost effective, available for
viewing all the time, and can be looked up on search engines
through tags and optimized keywords. Internet video commercials,
or 'webmercials', also have the possibility of becoming viral
making it a useful marketing tool for small or large businesses."
