goodideaZS (producer of A Greater Town) owns the rights to the former artists' social network, myArtspace .com (currently dormant.) We're planning to relaunch the site, and are looking for partners to that end.
myArtspace was live for seven years, with 80,000 members, including visual artists, galleries, museums, critics, collectors and 3,500 art schools.
Members enrolled from 160 countries (mostly the US and GB) and $1,000,000 was spent in the development of the website and membership.

The myArtspace data base contains 1,000,000 images of original art - most of them high resolution. Examples can be seen in the following videos:

The site was taken down in 2012 by its previous owners, but can be visualized through cached pages on the Wayback Machine:
The following artist profiles illustrate the quality of the membership:
myArtspace was a vibrant community and an important cultural repository, and when relaunched, could present a compelling strategic opportunity to a wide array of partners in arts-related verticals, such as art schools, materials suppliers, website providers, printers, etc. We have already done extensive business development in these verticals, from which our partners or sponsors could also potentially benefit.
The website was also very rich from a search engine perspective, and holds immense value in that regard. From a structural perspective, myArtspace is an SEO treasure trove, containing over 1,000,000 pages of unique content. Local pages could be set up within it displaying artists and artworks by location, and those pages could be used to promote local businesses in each market, bolstering advertisers' visibility in the art community as well as the search engines.
We have something potentially quite valuable in myArtspace - between the intrinsic value of having up to 1,000,000 artworks to sell to the public, and 80,000 members to which to sell art websites and other digital services, as well as other art-related products and services, and monetizing its search value through local promotions and SMB lead generation.
myArtspace's biggest competitor when it was live was SaatchiArt, recently acquired by Demand Media for $17,000,000.
When submitted to the search engines again, the site will index deeply, drawing the membership back through Google alerts and search results. This will be supplemented with a combination of direct email outreach and press releases, as well as distribution of artist profiles and artworks via our community marketing site A Greater Town (which also has powerful search engine visibility.) We will also organize a series of contests to engage, challenge and reward new and returning members.
