Goddess Rock, an all-women offshoot of Parents Who Rock, is sponsoring an event at the Diva Lounge on Saturday, October 25, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., to benefit In the Pink, a breast cancer early detection and education program. The event will feature seven musical acts, all fronted by Montclair moms, as well as a comic who will serve as master of ceremonies.
The acts include Alma Schneider and the FunRaisers, Ellen Paretti & Jessica Henry, Janet Donofrio and the Blooming Fields, Aviva Patz and Client No. 9, Alisa Harmon and The Arsenal, Carrie Cantor and El Kabong, and Jo Senecal and The Eugene Chrysler Band.

Over the past three years, fundraising events featuring the solo artists, combos, and bands of PWR have supported the Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and the Montclair Public Schools Developmental Learning Center (DLC), among others.
