Montclair, New Jersey - May 12rd, 2012 - After creating three successful restaurants in the past ten years in Bergen County, under the name Café Amici, Albert Franco is poised to raise the bar for his personal accomplishments in our town, Montclair, New Jersey. His latest moves have been inspired by the kaleidoscopic ethnic diversity that defines the town of Montclair.

Albert and New Executive Chef Pierre will be enhancing the richness of the menu and dining experience with food that inspires. In view of his new restaurant offerings, he will be renaming his restaurant from Cafe Amici Montclair to Albert's Montclair.

While the eatery has always boasted meals from a diverse selection of foods, Albert is really expanding his menu beyond its rich Italian roots with the recent addition of the culinary talents of Executive Chef Patrick Pierre Jerome.

Executive Chef Patrick Pierre Jerome, known simply as Chef Pierre, has the notable distinction of graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA), a leading college for the culinary arts. He has also spent time in France working for several world class chefs and restaurants. He has an exceptional background as an Executive Chef having worked for top restaurants in Northern Jersey and New York.

Chef Pierre also was a pioneer in creating buzz and renown for restaurants in Montclair with his outstanding French restaurant Yves in past years. He’ll bring his eclectic expertise in world class dining from a broad range of cultures like French, Italian, and Southern Barbeque, to offer them in a menu juxtaposed with American comfort foods.
