Dr. Flowers base is family practice with consultation and treatment for a wide range of disorders. Incorporated into this is a
master's degree in Chinese medicine, a fellowship in nutrition and well-founded familiarity with African-Egyptian Healing
System, Western Eclecticism, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda. These systems have their own robust clinical base.
In addition to this he works patients up, when necessary, with special testing to affirm or elucidate the findings of the other systems. Testing includes: Standard biomedical lab testing, stool analysis, delayed allergy testing, nutritional and metabolic testing, hormonal testing, and genetic testing.
Adjunctive treatment modalities are also used including: Acupuncture, herbology, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infrared mammography, and nutritional therapy. This approach gives a complete clinical and scientific database from which to reach far ranging conclusions apply a host of wide ranging therapies.
The usual protocol for a new patient consists of initial evaluation and standard biomedical lab. The second visit is a database review
and assessment. In the third visit a custom individual nutritional-herbal protocol will be developed and a decision about acupuncture, hyperbaric oxygen treatment, etc will be made. The patient is encouraged to take notes. Special testing may require two additional visits depending on the problem.
