Rental Community for Mature Living Offers Diverse Daily Activities
Just in time for Thanksgiving, residents at Waterside Villas learned the art of apple pie baking at a free class held at the 55+ luxury apartment residence. Sandy Quasarano, a resident, instructed the group, sharing her baking tips with participants who made their own delicious desserts to take home.
Residents enjoy an active lifestyle at Waterside Villas where a variety of ongoing programs as well as special events are offered. The planned activities, which include on-site fitness programs and cooking classes, fund-raising events, workshops on topics such as financial planning and health and wellness, reflect the diverse interests, talents, and wellness goals of the residents, according to Activities Director Jessica Hoffarth. Waterside Villas residents and guests also enjoy regular outings to concerts, shopping and cultural venues with transportation provided by the community.
In November, for example, several special events are on the agenda including a neighborhood tea, a wreath decorating class, writing circle meetings, a presentation on pet health and wellness, and two special benefits for U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Colin Pascik who sustained serious injuries in Afghanistan.
Waterside Villas, located at One Overlook Drive in Monroe Township, is a 55+ service-enriched luxury apartment residence. For more information about upcoming social, cultural and educational programs open to the public, please call (609) 409-0018 or visit http://www.watersidevillasnj.com/.
