Nicole, PT, D.P.T., C.K.T.P., is a physical therapist in the Monroe outpatient physical therapy center. She has achieved success in the treatment of athletes and ?the average Joe? in pre/post-op and non-operative shoulders, knees, ankles, hips and wrists, as well as the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Nicole received a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, FL in 2006 and a Bachelor?s Degree of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI in 1999. She is a Certified Kinesiotaping Practioner (C.K.T.P.) and is eligible to sit for the Sports Physical Therapy Certification (S.T.C. and/or S.C.S.), the Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) and the Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (O.C.S.) exams. Nicole assisted the team physician and training staff, of the Toronto Blue Jays, with player physicals required prior to Spring Training. She has completed numerous continuing education courses including: Orthopaedic Surgical Update: Shoulder & Knee, Examination and Intervention for Shoulder Pathologies: A Practical and Evidence-Based Approach, Fundamentals of Kinesio Taping, Advanced Kinesio Taping Concepts and Corrective Techniques, and Kinesio Taping of Dysfunctional Movement Patterns, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (S.F.M.A.), Orthopaedic Management of Lower Quarter Injuries and Foundations/Competencies in Sports Physical Therapy.
