Gorgeous apartment right on the Eagle River! Just minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek, Minturn is still a small ski town where life moves at a slower pace. We are within easy walking distance to Minturn's shops and restaurants. This is one of the few spots in the Vail area where you can't hear the endless sound of I-70, instead you hear the burbling river from your private hot tub. Includes gourmet kitchen/Viking stove, 2 gas fireplaces (in the great room and master bedroom), master en-suite bathroom with jetted tub.

This property used to provide the "Rooms on the River" when it was part of the Minturn Inn on Main street. Now this coveted spot is all for you. Tucked out of the way on a quiet street it's the perfect place to relax after a hard day of mountaineering.

The apartment consists of the great room and the master bedroom suite. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bedside fireplace, en-suite bathroom with jetted bath tub, glass shower and hot tub right outside.

The main room contains a queen bed with privacy curtains which has direct access to the main bathroom and shower. The main room also contains the full gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar, round table that seats 6, 50" tv with cable, and pull out sleeper sofa. The apartment opens directly out to the yard right on the river.

The entire apartment is private including private entrance. The yard is shared with us, however we rarely use it since our children prefer the front/street side of the house where they can ride their bikes! My wife or I will often be out fly-fishing in our backyard river in the summer evenings and we're happy to share the space and tell you what's biting!

Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible. Or even high-heel accessible. Boots are recommend to walk through the shoveled path that takes you to the riverside entrance. There is a sturdy rope to help guide you but you must be sure-footed.

Our family of four lives in the completely separate upstairs. I'm normally available for anything that comes up, but do not want to impede on your relaxing riverside vacation.

Our home is a non-smoking property, no pets please.

Pack n' Play with fitted sheet in unit. Ironing board/iron, fan, extra blankets, picnic basket/backpack, hair dryer in each bathroom.

Minturn is a small town away from the bustle of Vail and Beaver Creek. There are several restaurants including a great breakfast diner with a full bar, and a sandwich shop/bakery with espresso bar. For dinner, there's a pizza place with a pool table and arcade games, a cook-your-own steak joint, a local winery with an open porch in the summer, and amazing wings and BBQ are a dangerous one-block away. Quaint gift shops, a record store and the best fly shop in the mountains are all within walking distance! Then, when you get back to our house, we are one of the few places off the main street so it is ultra cozy and quiet.

The world class mountains of Vail and Beaver Creek are literally minutes away and accessible by bus. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fly-fishing, mountain biking and river rafting is right out your door.

There is free parking in the driveway for two cars. There is a bus stop a 3-minute walk away that will take you to Vail for $4. Ubers and taxis are also available.

Located in Minturn, this apartment is in the city center and on the waterfront. Beaver Creek Ski Area and Vail Ski Resort are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda. Little Beach Park and Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
