ANASAZI Foundation has Troubled teen programs for ages 13 to 17, that struggle with behavioral, emotional, and academic issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, learning disorders, and others. Participants (YoungWalkers) spend a minimum of 49 or 56 days in the wilderness of Arizona hiking and camping with little manufactured gear. They live a primitive lifestyle and learn the skills and technologies of the “ancient ones.”
