There is nothing worse that stepping out from under a soothing, warm shower only to be hit with a burst of cold air. In fact, when the temperature drops, it can be difficult to convince yourself to get into the shower. Once it has started running of course, it can be unappealing to stop because you know that the cold awaits you. This does create quite the dilemma. With a few common sense trick and some modern technology, however, this can be a problem of the past. Here is how you can warm up your bathroom:

Heat Lamp

If you really are tired of dealing with the cold, it is time to install a bathroom heat lamp in the room. This will help to ensure that the entire chamber stays warm. Although these products may look like light sources, their main purpose is to generate warmth. The light that is produced is actually considered to be a waste product of the item. If you get one that is energy-efficient, you will be able to use it more and save money in the long run. Make sure to the turn the lamp on several minutes before you enter the area. This way it will reach the perfect temperature.

Towel Warmer

The only thing better than getting out of a hot shower is wrapping yourself up in a toasty towel. Usually what you would have to do is iron out your towel or toss it into the dryer for a bit. There is now a third much easier and faster option. This comes in the form of a towel warmer. It looks a lot like a regular towel rack. However, it has a warming component to it. All you have to do is place the towel on the rack and the warmer will do the rest for you.

Rugs

Bathroom floors tend to be tiled which means that they can be incredibly cold to the touch, particularly to your sensitive feet. To prevent this, make sure that there is a towel right outside of your towel. Try to avoid thick rugs in this region as it will be difficult to dry. Once you have dried off your feet, however have a rug that you can step onto. This way the soles of your feet will never have to make contact with the floor.

Radiant Floors

Not content with rugs? Well, there is a way to take it one step further. If you really despise the feeling of cold spreading through your legs, then you can opt for radiant flooring. The only downside is that you will have to rip up your existing flooring. This type of floor is one that is warmed by hot water running underside it. This way, your feet really will never get cold again and there will be no more need for slippers.

Your favorite place in the house can now be cozy and snug. Invest in at least one of these methods and you will be a lot happier as a result.
