The Space:
An exceptional value in this unique, storied, original & historic Western mountain hamlet-paradise. Pikes Peak looms above. There’s a spa up the street. And galleries, dining, drinking, shopping, exploring, hiking, riding, zipping are all right here within walking distance!

You’ll park in the driveway under the carport clearly marked “Cottage Parking.” The entrance to our carriage house is up the stairs, just past the inspiring deck with an unobstructed view of a clear, Colorado sky and the foothills to the west. There’s plenty of outdoor seating here, and the gas grill begs for a BBQ with friends or family. As you enter using the code provided to you at check-in, you’ll note the abundant natural light and the functional, practical living room. Just beyond the living room is the kitchen with a gas stove, oak cabinets, and a big, useful sink.

The home’s single bedroom is just off the kitchen and features a comfortable Full bed, well-appointed in hotel-quality linens, laundered professionally after each stay. This room is at garden-level, but it feels open and airy with the large window and the skylights above. The single bathroom is clean, modern, and ready for business with a tile shower and classic, pedestal sink. With all the comforts of home, in a place that you might come to wish is your home, our carriage house is the perfect home-base for some incredible, memorable experiences had right at the base of Pikes Peak, “America’s Mountain,” in ever-charming, always-original, never-mundane Manitou Springs!

You will have access to the cottage and a private patio. Laundry (washer and dryer) is directly below the cottage. Please be courteous of the front house, as it may have guests as well! Please inquire about booking both the Cottage and the Home at the same time! Talk about an experience!

Manitou Springs is the Pikes Peak Region’s quintessential travel destination. Located at the base of Pikes Peak, “America’s Mountain,” just down the street from Garden of the Gods and surrounded by canyons, trails, towering red-rock formations and world-renowned (vertical) athletic challenges, it’s also wholly unique. Both historic and whimsical, Manitou wears its originality on its sleeve, with galleries-aplenty, local, artisan shops all over the place, a new-age appreciation for the finer, natural things in life and a solid embrace of its wild-west heritage. All of this comes together in a single, relatively small location, a ground-zero for artistic, creative energy and a myriad of entertainment, adventure and relaxation opportunities for visitors and guests.

Located just 10 minutes west of Downtown Colorado Springs, the “urban” is close too if you prefer that! And some of the area's other, most well-known attractions like the Broadmoor, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, the United States Olympic Museum and many, many more are just a few minutes up or down the road. Not to mention Manitou's walking path is out the front door! But we think the best is all right here, in many cases within walking or biking distance! Getting Around:
Most of Manitou Springs is within reasonable walking distance. Manitou Springs is best explored by bike or walking! Lyft and Uber are also available in this area. We recommend a vehicle when traveling in Colorado. Please consider SUV or AWD vehicle in the winter!

*Please park in designated "Unit #3 Cottage" parking, under car port.
* We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
* Up to 1 dog is welcome for an additional fee ($50/dog/week). No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!
* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;
* Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!
*There is window AC units throughout the home.

- Late Checkout Service: $25/hr (Late as 12 pm)

Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, Hoste does a $19 damage waiver that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waiver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waiver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.

Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak.
