Dr. Carolyn Leahy received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC and two internships at the VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Shelton, Connecticut. At VCA, Dr. Leahy focused on emergency medicine and neurology. Dr. Leahy is a Parrothead but loves all animals. She is especially partial to her rescue pets: Zara, a beagle mix, Gypsy, a pit bull mix, and Carlos, an orange tabby cat.
