Our cottage is located in the middle of the beautiful sandy beach of Trails End Bay, on Lake Michigan.
Trails End Bay is really one of the most beautiful beaches on this part of Lake Michigan. Trails End Bay is located just West of Mackinaw City at the Straits of Mackinac. The sandy beach and clear water is perfect for swimming and water sports.
We have WiFi internet with 100 Mbps download/upload speeds! To go with that we have a Roku digital media player that offers access to streaming media content from various online services
Our two-bedroom, 1 bath cottage, includes an open floor plan with a large living room and kitchen with an eating area. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds to accommodate four comfortably. The kitchen features a refrigerator, electric range, built-in microwave, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. The cottage faces West which opens it up to the gorgeous views and spectacular sunsets of this part of Lake Michigan.
The Mackinac Straits Area is the home of several National Historic sites including Mackinac Island. Mackinaw City attractions include, the Mackinaw Crossings outdoor mall, the Odawa Casino, numerous shops and gift stores. Not far is a live evening lumberjack show. Mackinaw City is also the gateway to Michigan's Upper Peninsula via the 'Mighty Mac' Mackinac Bridge and ferries to Mackinac Island. While in Mackinaw city you can tour the Ice Breaker Mackinac, Colonial Fort Michlimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and other attractions.
The Headlands International Dark Sky park is located less than a mile and a half from our cottage. From our beach we share the same view of the night sky offered at that park.

Located in Mackinaw City, this cottage is in the city center and on the beach. Mackinaw City Ferry Terminal and The Jewel at the Grand Hotel are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Spy Quest Laser Maze and Animal Tracks Adventure Golf are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
