2007 *Our 20th Anniversary* With its groovy colorful paintings lining the white walls, the owner likes to describe the pace as "an art gallery that serves food". La Bella Cucina caters mainly to the professional crowd at lunchtime, while evenings attract conventioneers and travelers staying at nearby hotels. Pick from one of many chicken, veggie and homemade pasta dishes listed on the blackboard. Some of its specialties include Swordfish w/checca sauce, Spicy chicken pizza and Fresh Clam Soup. With a full bar and casual atmosphere, La Bella Cucina serves calzones, pasta, seafood and salads so yummy you won't believe it's attached to a car wash. It offers nightly specials tailored to whatever's happening at Staples (a "Neil Deal" and Red Red wine sangria for the recent Neil Diamond concerts). It's only a block away from the arena. Along with being the Official Caterer for the Los Angeles Avengers (Arena Football), Steve La Bella is proud to be also connected as a caterer to the The Los Angeles Kings (NHL) and all their visiting teams."These days we're doing a lot of private parties. Last year there was one every day for the two weeks prior to Christmas, sometimes two a day. We also do a lot of trays and stuff that go to office parties".
