Your insurance company gives you this app so you can apply for the benefits of an insurance policy, whether it is life, car or health insurance. You must file a claim before making any payment for any contractual services in your car, such as a hospital or repair shop. When you file an insurance claim, the company may pay a claim based on their assessment of the situation, or they may not.

When you take out the insurance policy, you must continue to pay the insurance company every month. These are called premiums. In general, these premiums are used to increase the company's available assets or to settle other people's claims. Occasionally accidents can occur that cause economic damage, such as tornadoes, car wrecks or work-related accidents. When this happens, the victim policy holder can file an insurance claim to obtain funding from the company.

When filing an insurance claim, you submit to a local representative who works for the company, and they have a duty to incite the specific details of the claim. Then agents negotiate payment with the main insurance company. In many cases, recognized authorities, such as repair shops, building contractors, or medical professionals, can submit the necessary forms directly to insurers. If the other party agrees to pay their own mistakes or losses less, the policyholder may not wish to file an insurance claim.

Once an insurance claim is filed, an insurer usually has an assessor or adjuster who evaluates the damage unbiased and determines whether the maintenance estimate received by the policy holder is realistic. This can help prevent companies from cheating at higher valuations and get extra compensation. Most insurers accept the valuation of an appraiser or adjuster as a rule of thumb. Some insurance claims can not be paid for many reasons. Some of these reasons may include:

• Claimants' premiums are not paid monthly and are lagging behind
• Policy may not be valid
• Another insurer may agree to pay the damages listed in the insurance claim. This usually occurs in a car accident where one of the parties is responsible for the accident.
• Does not meet the conditions covered because most insurance policies specify specific areas that are eligible for benefits
• Your insurer reserves the right to withhold payment if damage or accident claims are "unfriendly" acts of God or are caused by negligence.

The only way to formally apply for a benefit is to file a claim. It will not be paid until it is assessed by your insurance company.
