 Baroque Music & Dance: Recital Hall - USC School of MusicFriday September 7, 2012 The Columbia Baroque Soloists present "Characters of the Dance" featuring Baroque dancers Paige Whitley-Bauguess and Thomas Baird in a delightful program of costumed characters that graced the 18th-century stage featuring elegant music of the French Baroque performed by ensemble members: Jerry Curry, harpsichord; Jean Hein and Timothy Hein, Baroque recorders; Brittnee Siemon, mezzo soprano; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba and guest artists Mary Hostetler Hoyt and Erika Cutler, Baroque violins. I have attended quite a few over the years, and this show never disappoints. It's set up on the streets of Downtown Aiken and you'll find craftspeople and artists from all over the South.
