This Saturday in York! SUMMERFEST!Saturday August 25, 2012 The Greater York Chamber of Commerce and the City of York presents the 29th SUMMERFEST on Saturday, August 25, 2012 in Historic York, South Carolina 9:00am-5:00pm. Held annually in Historic Downtown York on the fourth Saturday in August, Summerfest, has been recognized at the South Carolina Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Travel as the Most Outstanding Festival of the Year and by the Southeast Tourism Society for its Top 20 Events calendar. A Juried Craft and Food festival featuring only handmade crafts and an array of delicious foods from over 100 craft/art vendors and food vendors will be located in the center of York. Summerfest features several attractions, one of the largest regional classic car shows; musical entertainment located at three stages; Texaco Country Showdown completion, giant scale model airplane fly-in, 4-H petting zoo, inflatable and climbing wall.
