Join us for the third annual Tartan Day South celebrating all things Celtic. Enjoy music, dance, athletic competitions, pipe bands and demonstrations including herding, swordplay & birds of prey. Learn more about Celtic heritage from special organizations in attendance and trace the roots of those Scots, Irish, Welsh and other Celts that settled in the region. Shop for unique items in the Celtic marketplace and check out the vehicles on display from the British Isles. And of course you will see plenty of big guys in kilts! Spring Nature Walk: Sesquicentennial State Park

Join us at Sesquicentennial State Park as we explore Sesqui's sandhills and learn about this unique and delicate Carolina ecosystem. Participants will also find out what animals and plants call the park home while enjoying the sights and sounds of the forest. This program is designed for ages 5 and older. Dogwood Festival: Main Street, Denmark, SC

This two-day, family friendly event celebrates the arrival of spring and the debut of the dogwood blossoms in Denmark, SC. Held along Main Street (Carolina Highway), the Dogwood Festival offers live entertainment, vendors, food and drink, and rides! Bring a blanket or grab a lawn chair and head on out to the square for this beautiful celebration! There will be a prayer breakfast at 9am Friday morning in the Voorhees College Gymnasium (corner of Vorhees Road and Porter Drive, Bamberg, SC) and a walk for diabetes that night at 6pm! Visit a colossal nine-foot high Clifford and slide down his tail, just like Emily Elizabeth does on TV.
