A neighborhood tavern, serving lunch, dinner, and happy hour food for sit down or carry out, Oliver’s has a an incredibly extensive menu which offers their famous appetizers (spicy BBQ buffalo wings and hot crab dip with fresh crabmeat, or the steaming baked French onion soup) as well as salads and platters, homemade soups, Oliver’s famous burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches, deli sandwiches with 8 oz portions of meat, Mile High club sandwiches, wraps, (the New York style Reuben is heavenly) and grilled filet mignon, porterhouse and marinated pork loin. They also have veal prime rib, chicken and sausage pesto Alfredo, seafood Fra Diablo, grilled line caught rockfish, firecracker shrimp, kids menu and desserts. Aside from the incredibly large portions and delicious food, Oliver’s features live music, a game room with pool table and darts, karaoke, a TV and private party room. There are weekday specials to be had as well; Mondays are all-you-care-to-eat pasta—with a pound of steamed shrimp also available, Tuesdays are half price burger nights with the Big “O” Burger, Wednesdays offers a 12 oz sizzling steak, and Thursday is whole Maine lobster night.
