I have had a love for real estate all my adult life. My father built homes and I was always helping him so I decided to obtain my real estate license and help people to obtain their dream home. I decided to become a realtor for Indiana and Illinois and worked with a company named McColly Better Homes and Gardens from 1990-1998. I had great mentors and learned a lot about the real estate market for existing homes and new construction.
I moved to Florida in 1998 and started to rehab homes in the Clearwater area. I enjoyed taking tired sad homes and making them come alive once again. When I completed a house I needed to find a family to make the house a home. So I went back to real estate state school to get my Florida Real Estate License. Once I received my license I continued to take classes so I can be the best I can be to make sure I provide the best customer service possible. I also went on to receive my GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute), RSPS certification (Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist), and the PSA certification (Pricing Strategic Advisor. Received my Brokers License in 2016, and a Florida Real Estate Instructor. Awarded Five Star Professional Award for Tampa Real Estate Agent 2018. Received CAM (Community Association Manager License – 2020)
I was born in Harvey Illinois and at age 13 moved to South Holland, Illinois where I lived for 25 years. I graduated in 1970 from Thornridge High School, in Dolton Illinois, home of the Falcons. Then in 1990, I moved to Crown Point Indiana, and back to Dyer Indiana. I have two sons who live in Dyer Indiana one is a Chrysler Mechanic for Bozak Chrysler and the other is a Financial Director for Lake County Indiana. I was blessed to also have a beautiful daughter-in-law and three grandsons.
My other passion is decorating cakes. I love to use my talents creating specialty cakes and cupcakes for any occasion. I also lobbied to get the Cottage Food Law passed on July 1 2010 it Governor Scott sign it into law. This law allows people who have a baking or cooking passion to have a home-based business and sell to the public.
