Simply decorated with inspiration from our National Parks, this peaceful space incorporates themes from the old patrol cabins used by park rangers, yet more modern in fashion.
Rates are kept low by attracting responsible renters who are willing to clean up after themselves and 'leave no trace'. No smoking please.
The fire in the woodstove is ready to light and your recliner is nearby. There is no phone for interruptions, but there are games, craft supplies, music, a TV (no cable- sorry- movies only) DVD, VCR, and plenty of reading material to occupy your time indoors. Outdoors, you can mountain bike or ski on the nearby Forest Service trails through the woods or to the Deschutes River. Mount Bachelor is a 45 minute drive for downhill skiing. When it snows, you can cross-country ski out the front door. Snows can be heavy at times so be sure your vehicle is prepared for winter travel. Fishing opportunities are a 20 minute drive to various lakes and rivers.
A two night minimum stay is required.
