Jack and Jill went up the wrong Home Hill

So Here’s a story of a cute little couple that went out to buy a house. After long months of walking to and fro from one house to another, Jack and Jill finally found the “Pot of Gold” at the top of the hill. Through the woods and over the bridge they ran excitedly to the Banker to ask for a loan. Unbeknownst to them, they were looking at the wrong home hills. The Banker shook his head and said to them “I’m so sorry Jack and Jill, but the “Pot of Gold” is more then you qualify for, do you have extra cash?” Chins down, heads shaking Jack and Jill were shocked! How could this be? Thought Jack and Jill, they together went through their budget. After a few minutes of silence, Jack and Jill asked the Banker “What are we to do, we really want that “Pot of Gold” on top of the hill”.

 This little story is to help you understand that what you think you can afford and what the banks will loan you are like black and white.  Before you find your “Pot of Gold”, please be informed by your Loan Officer or Bank of what the max loan allowance is for you, or you and your spouse together.
