Jake Daniels, PT, DPT is physical therapist who has been with Select Physical Therapy since June 2014 and is a clinician at the facility on Southside and Baymeadows Rd. Jake is from Harrisburg, PA and attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor?s in Health Sciences and a Minor psychology. Jake then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Widener University in Chester, PA. At Widener University he received several awards including Institute for Physical Therapy Education Academic Excellence Award and the Faculty Award for Contribution to the Professional Education Experience. He also served as the operations coordinator for the Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic which is a student run clinic that treats the underserved and underinsured of the Chester community. He is also a member of the National Honor Society for his pro bono service at the Chester Community Physical therapy clinic. Two of Jake?s clinical affiliations during physical therapy school were in outpatient physical therapy clinics. Jake has studied manual therapy techniques at Widener University and is currently enrolled in the University of St. Augustine?s Orthopedic Residency program.

Jake?s Vision: ?I believe that physical therapy can be challenging for many patients and their families, especially if it is their first time. It is important to develop a trusting, comfortable relationship with our patients and to make physical therapy enjoyable for them by designing customized care plans based on what they enjoy in life and to keep them well informed about their condition.?
