There must be a reason why you have been driving by and slowing down for a short look at a certain house for weeks now. Could the reason be it looks good from the road, you know this is a great neighborhood, yet you hesitate to have a look at the inside, you can if you want, after all there is that nice looking real estate sign with a number on it that puts you in touch with that EXIT REALTOR you see in the neighborhood from time to time or you could call another agent you know. Taking a tour of the inside will not hurt nor will it cost anything but your time.
Possibly another reason is; well you would have to sell the house you have lived in for a long time and the housing market had been the way it was; will you be better off staying where you are, even though it sure will be cramped later with the fourth member of the family having arrived, a short while ago.
It is a bigger house, with great landscaping; the owner has done a fantastic job keeping the property in such great shape, the huge back yard is ideal for the children and it’s fenced. The fact is all the homes on this street look exceptional. You are running all kinds of information through the brain; well what are you going to do, check it out or forget about it, buying another home is a big decision and should not be taken lightly.
You arrive home and enter the house and hug the family and start your evening ritual and the wife asks you to sit down because she wants to tell you something. Thinking the worse, you ask if everything is ok and then you hear these words, “Honey, I made an appointment to see the house we have been looking at on the next block”, we need to go”, the agent will be there in a few minutes.
Ok, maybe it doesn’t work like that, if you are interested in buying or selling your home it is a good idea to talk to a REALTOR, even if you just need some information on a home or need help through the whole process of selling your home or buying one. REALTORS do this for a living and are bound by a CODE OF ETHICS to represent their clients.
